This Japanese Koi Tattoo was accomplished in three different five hour sessions. The first session we completed the line work and the grey shade work. The second session we colored the Koi and the lotus flowers. The third session we colored in the water and added the white to the Koi fish. The lotus flower on the leg was requested as late in the tattoo. It may look a bit out of place, but the client lost a brother during the tattoo. She added it to symbolize her brother leaving us.
